Trish led the team and managed the brand development of Bebe, one of the most recognized global retail fashion brands.  During her tenure at Bebe, her team executed domestic and international expansion, propelling the Bebe brand to the forefront of the fashion industry. Through Trish’s creative strategy, Bebe’s sales grew from $1 million to over $100 million a year, positioning the company for a successful initial public offering.

She has recruited, managed, and mentored multiple creative teams in the fashion, home, and entertainment industries. Her career focus is brand development, creative art direction and enhancing brand integrity. Her efforts have resulted in transitioning evolving brands into globally recognized industry icons.

Branding, merchandising and marketing consulting firm for the fashion, home and entertainment industries. Clients include: Bisou Bisou, California Market Center, Identity Craft Furniture Showrooms, Bebe, independent film and television production companies.

  • Development of Bisou Bisou wholesale line into a successful retail concept with twenty locations in two years, ultimately positioning the company to sell to JC Penney.
  • Transition of California Mart to California Market Center, establishing new categories, trade shows, and events that led to a 30% increase in revenues and occupancy within one year.
  • Development of apparel merchandising and art direction for independent film projects.
  • Development of audio/music identities for client brands, including logos for independent film production clients, runway music, in-store music, web identity.

Expanded company from 3 stores to 85 over ten years and grew from $1 million to over $100 million in sales. Established a pattern of 35% increases in same stores sales. Oversaw a versatile team of eleven directors, over 1000 total employees.

Complete creative direction for brand including: overseeing apparel design and merchandising, advertising, marketing, planning, store design, construction, public relations and visual merchandising. 

Evolved brand from a virtual unknown to a globally recognized industry icon, positioning it for a successful initial public offering.

EXECUTIVE RESPONSIBILITIES 


Creative, Advertising, Brand Management and Marketing

Create and develop brand identity for now nationally recognized industry icon. Capitalize on brand strength to further promote in the marketplace and expand business. Produce and place national print advertising campaigns in Vogue, Elle, Vanity Fair and other prominent magazines; national outdoor including billboards and bus shelters; catalog and direct mail. Art direct and manage pre- through post-production of all advertising and marketing by heading in-house ad agency. Seek and cast talent, direct makeup and hair artists. Lead graphic design teams, outsourced design firms and photographers for in-store print, music and video marketing, web presence, and commercial advertising. Provide project leadership, cost-containment, deadline and collateral management. Develop and package related items, including fragrance and licensed products.  Full responsibility for creative direction of logo design, product, packaging, and all related concepts.

Merchandising, Art Direction and Design
Direct team of designers and graphic artists to produce 24 fashion collections and related items per year. Conceptualize color stories and themes for contemporary fashion lines. Oversee design process, fittings, merchandising of collections to maximize retail sales. Cast and lead in-house and outsourced teams to produce fashion shows and events, collaborate with choreographers, models, musicians, DJ’s and performers. Create stimulating environments, installations, and concepts for recurring visual merchandising, store, trade show, and client events. Collaborate with architects, event planners, and designers to create visually appealing and sales-focused space design.

Business Development
Develop strategies for continuing business expansion. Provide real estate site selection. Create infrastructure for company operation. Develop corporate philosophy, implement corporate culture and value systems. Drive performance through insistence on the highest standards of communication, professionalism, and quality. Encourage out of the box thinking. Bottom line responsibility for generating $100 million in revenue.
